Fábio founded Awari from scratch, backed by Y Combinator, Weekend Fund (Ryan Hoover), Harvard Management Company, and Latitud Ventures. He scaled it to over 20,000 students and sold it to Fluency Academy, a company invested in by General Atlantic that serves over 300,000 students in Latin America and has more than 30 million followers on social media. He remained post-acquisition as CPO. Before venturing out on his own, he designed products for Google, NBCUniversal, Viacom, Colgate, and various YC startups. Today, he is the Chairman of Aurora and Chef (the largest personal chef subscription in Brazil).
